Dr. Sipho Ntshalintshali, physician & rheumatologist.

Dr. Sipho Ntshalintshali qualified as a medical doctor at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) and completed his specialist training in Internal Medicine through the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA) and UKZN. He sub-specialised in Rheumatology, earning his Certificate in Rheumatology (SA) and an MPhil degree in Rheumatology through the CMSA and Stellenbosch University respectively. He additionally earned a European Certificate in Rheumatology through EULAR, and has received advanced training in Clinical Immunology in the United States. He is an active member of the South African Rheumatism and Arthritis Association (SARAA), the African League of Associations for Rheumatology (AFLAR), and the College of Physicians of South Africa. He is currently an editor for the African Journal of Rheumatology (AJR), and a clinical researcher under UKZN.

His practice is grounded in the belief that specialist care should be both technically excellent and deeply human. Patients often present with complex, overlapping conditions, and Dr. Ntshalintshali takes the time to explain each diagnosis, weigh treatment options together, and coordinate with the wider care team. He currently holds admitting privileges at Netcare Margate Hospital.
